Lauren is licensed as Certified Nurse-Midwife, RN, and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in women's health since the age of 22, including as a labor & delivery Nurse. She believes strongly in supporting patients through all phases of life with an empathetic, honest, educational approach that allows for holistic individualized healthcare. She uses her integrative approach to care to teach classes on perimenopause, facilitate postpartum groups, and teach other healthcare providers about diastasis rectus and safe exercise in the perinatal period. She has her Perinatal Mental Health Certificate from Postpartum Support International and is in the process of obtaining her certificate from the Menopause Society (formerly known as NAMS). She lives in Santa Rosa with her husband, 3 sons, & multiple pets. She loves the outdoors, gardening, & home improvement projects. Professional Interests: Perimenopause care and hormonal therapy. Lauren A, also known as Lala the office, is a Certified Nurse-Midwife, RN, and Nurse Practitioner. After six years of dedicated practice as a midwife, her deep commitment to maternal care is fortified by prior experience in critical care. Outside of her clinical work, she prioritizes wellness through fitness and meditation, and maintains a passion for providing comprehensive sexual health education. Savannah is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a background in public health, women’s health research, and labor support. After studying public health at UC Berkeley, she contributed to several UCSF studies exploring how trauma and food insecurity during pregnancy affect maternal and child health, investigating parent-child attachment, examining factors in breastfeeding cessation, and assessing access to healthy foods through government assistance programs like SNAP and WIC in the Bay Area. Later, she supported families as a birth doula, gaining insight into the transformative process of birth. Through this work, Savannah discovered her calling to become a midwife—a profession that allows her to care for women and families in ways that honor the whole person, all grounded in the power of one-on-one connection. What she loves most about midwifery is being able to offer a full spectrum of care: guiding someone through their first pelvic exam, supporting families through fertility challenges, celebrating and protecting the sacred journey of pregnancy and birth, nurturing mothers in the tender postpartum period, and offering guidance through menopause. To Savannah, every encounter is more than a clinical visit—it is an opportunity to build trust and rapport, while witnessing some of the most meaningful moments in people’s lives. This is an endlessly humbling and gratifying privilege. Having navigated her own path through matrescence—from preconception and fertility struggles to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum—Savannah brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. Amanda is a Certified Nurse-Midwife who brings warmth, clinical expertise, and a lifelong passion for women’s health to her work. Born and raised in Piedmont, just through the tunnel, Amanda knew from an early age that she was meant to serve in this field—thanks in part to an early “changing bodies” class and a mom who believed in education. By high school, she was volunteering her free period to teach freshman health, and her commitment to patient education has only grown since. Amanda earned her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, where she worked as a campus EMT and volunteered at Planned Parenthood. She went on to complete her nursing and midwifery training at Columbia University in New York City. Her first years as a midwife were spent at the bustling Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, where she cared for patients from all walks of life and had the privilege of delivering hundreds of babies in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. After seven years in New York, Amanda returned to the Bay Area to be closer to family and joined the practice in 2015, which she now calls home —thanks in part to a serendipitous FaceTime introduction during her sister’s birth. She is now raising her own two young children, both of whom were born at John Muir Hospital and delivered by her colleagues, making her commitment to this community deeply personal. Amanda believes that great care begins with connection. She strives to create a supportive, relaxed environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make informed choices about their bodies and their health. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys hiking, golfing, weekend trips to Tahoe, and spending time with family and friends—many of whom she’s had the honor of delivering. Nicole Knight is a Certified Nurse Midwife who blends over 20 years of emergency room nursing experience with the joy of welcoming new life into the world. After two decades of fast-paced trauma care, Nicole decided to put her calm-in-a-crisis skills to good use in a different way: supporting women and families through birth, postpartum recovery, and the sometimes-overlooked journey of menopause. A graduate of Frontier Nursing University (Class of 2022), Nicole has been practicing midwifery for three years and is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care. She has a special fondness for helping women navigate postpartum depression and anxiety, and for guiding patients with honesty, empathy, and a touch of humor when it comes to life’s big transitions. When she’s not catching babies or helping her patients feel seen and supported, Nicole can usually be found outdoors hiking, whitewater rafting, or planning her next adventure. At home, life is joyfully full with her 12-year-old daughter, two dogs (Nellie and Lucy), and four cats who definitely run the household. Gabbie is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She spent six years as a labor and delivery nurse at USC Arcadia in Southern California and John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. She is a Certified Lactation Educator through UC San Diego, and is also a member of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH). As a midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner, Gabbie is passionate about caring for patients across the lifespan—from adolescence through menopause. She is committed to providing holistic, patient-centered, and evidence-based care to every patient she sees. Outside of work, Gabbie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. I was born at John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek and raised in Alamo, California. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine with a pre-medical emphasis from Pepperdine University. From an early age, I felt drawn to a career in healthcare, but it was through post-graduate reflection and research that I discovered my true calling as a nurse practitioner. This role offered the ideal balance—providing comprehensive, high-quality care while allowing me to maintain a meaningful personal and family life. With this goal in mind, I enrolled in the nursing program at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland. During my clinical rotations, I developed a strong passion for Labor and Delivery. Supporting individuals through one of life’s most transformative experiences—childbirth—has been both an honor and a profound privilege. After earning my nursing degree in 2006, I joined the incredible Labor and Delivery team at John Muir Hospital, where I continue to work two days a week as a Labor and Delivery nurse. While working in the field, I went on to earn my Master of Science in Nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. Given my professional interests and experience, I focused my clinical training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. This specialty has allowed me to provide care to women across all stages of life, from adolescence and pregnancy to menopause and beyond. I am proud to be part of a practice that prioritizes compassionate, patient-centered care. My goal is to ensure that every patient feels heard, respected, and confident in the care they receive. Outside of work, I find my greatest joy in spending time with my husband and daughter. Courtney Sepic, FNP, is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in primary care, urgent care, orthopedics, and women’s health. Originally from New England, she has lived and worked in Washington, DC, Chicago, and Boston before settling in the Bay Area with her family more than a decade ago. Courtney earned both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University. While completing her undergraduate studies, she worked as a nurse technician on the university hospital’s perinatal floor, where she cared for high-risk pregnant women, supported new mothers, and tended to newborns in the nursery. This early experience sparked her lifelong interest in women’s health and guided her senior year Labor and Delivery practicum. She later gained valuable clinical experience as an RN at Northwestern University and in the emergency department while completing her graduate studies. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Courtney has worked in a variety of clinical settings—including emergency medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, orthopedics at Massachusetts General Hospital, and urgent care at Blackhawk Medical Group in the East Bay. She has also served as a clinical professor, teaching undergraduate and graduate nursing students at the University of New Hampshire and Georgetown University. Courtney enjoys the continuity and connection that Family Medicine offers—caring for women of all ages, often across multiple generations. She feels deeply rooted in the East Bay community and is passionate about supporting women through all stages of life, from pregnancy through menopause and beyond. Emma Judin is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing inclusive, patient-centered OB/GYN care. She began her career in healthcare at a birth center, where she developed a strong passion for women’s health. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dominican University of California, she went on to complete her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner training at Georgetown University. Emma’s clinical interests include reproductive health, contraception management, fertility counseling, prenatal and postpartum care, and gynecologic wellness across the lifespan. Her background as a doula, along with her experience in nursing, continues to shape her holistic and compassionate approach to care. She is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where every patient feels respected and empowered in their health decisions.
